My computer is being all slow and dumb so it wont let me post the pictures..so I've put off posting thinking I'll just wait till it magically gets fixed but it hasnt..so no picture for now :(

Anyways, wow it's been almost 2 months since I've posted! Life is fast. I've been busier than busy, sometimes overly stressed (dang AP english!), BUT it's been so fun and I ♥ my life!

Highlights:

- Homecoming- I didn't actually talk about it so I'll just summarize. I went to homecoming with my best friend Josh Bethea :) He was such a great date and we probably had the most fun out of anyone in our group. The dance was crazy and fun and for our night activity we played bunko (me and josh lost miserably). We had our day activity the next weekend and it was a blast! I had a meet that morning and then right when I got back to the school, I hurried to Josh's house. We went to the lake and wakeboarded all day. It was awesome. And then at night when made brick oven pizzas and just chilled. It was just the greatest! :) (And i actually have a lot of pics from all this but i cant post them!!)

- Cross Country- This was such an amazing season. I grew as a runner and our team grew closer as a family. I was able to compete in the Sectional and State meet and they were just great opportunities. State went really well for me. I've learned this season that your mental attitude is a huge factor in how you're going to race, and for that meet I felt mentally there. Our team didnt place as well as we wanted to, but it's okay cuz there's always next year! I ♥ Toro XC!!!! :)

- License- I got my license!! I LOVE the freedom of driving places on my own! Only problem: I dont have my own car so I can't really drive whenever I want. So if you know anyone that's selling their car for cheap, let me know!!

- School and stuff- Like I said, AP english is pretty stressful but you know I think I can get throught it. (hopefully) Choir has been awesome! I love it! This Christmas season we're going to be singing at the Temple and I'm so excited :) Speaking of Christmas season, its almost here!!! Thanksgiving is next week and then after that it's all downhill schoolwise! I can't wait for after Christmas cuz my family is going to Kansas for my nephew's baptism! 2011 is almost over!!

Well, here I am...I'm finally 16. Haha that's what almost everyone said to me when they told me happy birthday. "Happy birthday! You're finally 16! You can finally date/drive!" Yes I know I'm a baby. But yeah, my birthday was pretty good. I love my friends and family!

Yesterday, was my first cross country meet for the season. It went pretty well actually. I ran on varsity and got a time that I did not think I would get. Also yesterday, I went and got my homecoming dress. It's so pretty! I won't show a picture till after homecoming though so stay tuned! Well that's all for now..catch up with ya later!

Yep, school is back. I'm now a junior. I'm not gonna lie, this year is gonna be DIFFICULT. But everyone says that junior year is always the hardest so it's not like I wasn't warned. I have a pretty loaded schedule with 7 classes plus cross country before and after school. It's safe to say I'm quite the busy person. My motto this year: Live life one day at a time. With a busy schedule I tend to stress out over every little thing very easily. This year I'm just gonna try to slow down, breathe, and worry about all my stresses for that day on that day rather than stressing about what I have to do the next day or the day after that. Does that make sense? This is kinda hard to explain but it makes sense in my head! Haha so I hope it works! Wish me luck!

P.S. my 16th bday is in 18 days!!

Last week I flew (by myself) to Kansas to visit my sister Tracie and her family in her lovely home in Topeka. Unfortunately, I forgot my camera so sorry no pics! :( Anyways, it was a great trip! I love being an aunt! I have 4 nephews and 1 niece that live there and I LOVE EM TO DEATH!! They are such cute, nice, and clever kids. Seriously they are the best! So my week there was mostly just me hanging out with the Haddocks. Me and my (barely younger than me) nephew Porter played a lot of video games...acutally mostly just one video game...haha yea I'm a little nerdy when it comes to Star Wars Battlefront II. It's a good game!! Haha but another thing we did was go see Harry Potter 7 Part II at 12:30 A.M. IT WAS SO FREAKING GOOD!!!!!!!! I LOVE HARRY POTTER SO MUCH!!!! I bawled when it was over. Harry Potter has been part of my life for the last 10 years. Thats most of my life!! It was depressing to see it over! I reallllly wanna go to Florida and see Harry Potter land! That's my dream! :) I wanna see that movie again though! Ahh so good! I also went to cross country practice with Porter too! It was fun! I love running and it was cool to run with the kids in Kansas that do too! The last activity I did in Kansas was going to the lake! My sister lives on a lake so it was really easy to just walk out the back door and go tubing! Which is what we did 3 times! Tubing is soso fun! I finally learned how to wakeboard too! I can't believe I haven't done it before this! It's really easy and fun! I'm now part of the Nichols Family Wakeboarding Club! Yay! On the last day I was there we drove to Kansas City and went to this burger place called Five Guys (it was amazingg) and then we went shoe shopping! I got some new church shoes, running shoes, and these really cute shoes called Sperrys! I love them! That night, I flew home. So here I am back in the 106 degree Mesa. Overall, it was an awesome trip and I can't wait to go back next summer! :) Next week: Salt Lake City, Utah. I'll take pics this time!! Hope you're having a pleasant summer!

I am truly free now! I just finished my 3 week,10 hour a day summer school rendezvous. Yes, i just said rendezvous. I like that word. Anywayss, i took american history. I actually enjoyed it. I really like history. I love learning about how our country has grown from some pilgrims in virginia to the huge diverse country it is today. I really grew a new appreciation for our veterans or anyone who has ever fought for our country. These men and women are seriously some of the bravest people ever.They risked their lives for our freedom. They are so cool! Haha i'm a history geek :) Welp, it's june 24th and now I can finally PARTYY!

Like my new blog background? Yeah, I love Harry Potter...it comes out in a little less than 2 months! You know what else is soon? SUMMER! FREEDOM! Except not really cuz I have summer school but oh well! So last night we had our big Rock N Roll Revue choir concert! It was a blast! I love singing! I'm exhausted from it though cuz I got home late and I still had to do hw that I didnt wanna do! I never wanna do homework anymore. We're at the time of the year where there's important finals but everyone is sick of studying and doing homework. That's me! I just need to hold on for one more week! I'm so ready for summer!

Gahhh. My dumb computer is not letting me post any pictures!!! Since we got a new computer I thought that problem would be solved! But noooo. Anwayys. Life has been grrreat. Im done with my stupid english research paper/the debate that comes with it. YESS. Once that was over, a burden was lifted off my shoulders. Schools almost done. Isnt that crazzyy?! Im gonna party it up in the SUMMER! Track has been amazing! I've been running varsity (I dont even know how it happened) and it's been a blast! The thing with me and running though is that if it's hot outside, I'm dying and I wanna quit. Haha like yesterday, for example, it felt like 1000 degrees while I was running down the good ol' canal and I wanted to quit track. Not really though cuz I LOVE track and running! The heat gets to my mind and I become a crazy person. My face was bright red and people were looking at me like I was about to die (which I prolly was) but yeah. This week we get friday off and I'm super stoked!! And then it's Easter. I love Easter. We get to celebrate our Savior's Atonement for us. I'm goin to the Easter Pageant for mutual tomorrow! :) My goal is to stay awake for the whole thing. I know that sounds horrible but I cant help it!! I think every year that I go with my family, it's always on the day that I have lack of sleep cuz I always fall asleep curled up in blankets on my mom's lap. Cute huh? But really. I WILL stay awake for the whole thing if I have to have my friends punch me every 2 minutes. Well, thats all for now. Happy Almost Easter!!!

Something I've Learned

STRESS. That is the word that has dominated my thoughts over the past couple days. I think I've literally spent a total of 24 hours doing english in the last week. We're doing this huge research paper that is really hard and time consuming and all the due dates are 1 day apart so I've been doing that and let me tell you...its turned me into a stressful wreck! For example, 7 hours of english homework tuesday night...track meet the next day...yea. But you know what I learned from all this. Well, it kinda goes right along with what we've been learning in seminary. Quick! Look up D&C 121:7-9! I'll make it easier and just put it on here. 7. My son {or daughter}, peace be unto thy soul; thine adversity and thine afflictions shall be but a small moment; 8. And then, if thou endure it well, God shall exalt thee on high; thou shalt triumph over all thy foes. 9. Thy friends do stand by thee, and they shall hail thee again with warm hearts and friendly hands. I've really felt this in my life. As I've relied on the Lord through these crazy times I've felt peace. He's helped me so much. And it also helps when I have some great friends backing me up too :) "All these things shall give thee experience, and shall be for thy good." ( D&C 122:7) Heavenly Father gives us trials for the benefit us. Trials are tests of our faith to Him. I feel like I have more faith in Him and Jesus Christ. I love the gospel. Always something new to learn. CONFERENCE IS THIS WEEKEND!!! WOOT!!! It's time for me to go catch up on my sleep. ♥ Hannah Lee

SPRING BREAK!!!!!!!!!!
Let me tell you, I need this break.

My life has been insaneeee lately. I get so tired. Like at piano yesterday I was about to fall asleep. Whoops! Track has been pretty good. I'm not good enough to compete in invitationals ( i wish i was) but I do run in the dual meets. I'm on the 4X800 team :) and I run the 800 too. I've also been worrying about choir auditioins for next year. I found out if I make it in a few days. I wanna know soooo bad! I also took/failed my permit test last week. But dont worry, I got it yesterday!!! :) yay! Anyways, that's it. I wish I could write some more but my brain is fried and I have to go get ready to hang out tonight. Whoo!

I saw his movie Never Say Never last week, and it left me in love!! Haha not really but he's so dreamyyyyyy! My friend Karli let me borrow his book yesterday and I finished it today. It is so good!! AHHH just look at him... :)

Goal: Finish personal progress by the time I'm 16. I've got about 6 more months. Can I do it? I hope!

As predicted, winter break=success. Now, its back to the books. You know lately I've been realizing about how much time I have left in highschool. I know what you're thinking- wait, she's only a sophomore- okay you're right but still. 2 and a half more years. 2 and a half years ago I was in 7th grade. That felt like yesterday. It's gone by so fast and here I am at the school I've been dreaming about since kindergarten. I know I shouldn't be worried about it, and I'm not, but I'm just putting things into perspective. 2 years from today I will be about 4 months away from graduating. That's nuts. Sooo, with this in mind, I'm just gonna live it up. Whatever life throws at me, I'll throw it right back. 2011 here I come! And that's my little thought for today.

Lately, I've been reading other peoples blogs a lot (stalkerish, I know). I like how people just come out and speak their mind. I guess thats kinda hard for me to do and if you read my past posts its mostly just stuff like "Cross country was so fun!! I love my family!! I'm so excited for this and that..." I dont really say what I feel and think. Thats why I love looking at my friends' blogs cuz they just say whatever comes to mind. And thats what I need to do!!

First, I'd like to start with my testimony. I know the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints is the true church on this earth today. I know Joseph Smith restored it and I know he truly was a prophet. I'm very very grateful for the Atonement of Jesus Christ. And I'm grateful for the powers repentence and forgiveness. I'm grateful for the church in my life and the examples of good friends and family.

I've come to a conclusion that my new goal is to be more consistant with speaking my mind and writing on this blog more often!

So I just got in this crazy holiday mood! Im so SO so SO so excited for Christmas!!! I had my choir concert this past week and singing those Christmas songs have gotten me in the mood! We have our Christmas lights up, but still no tree!! We usually put it up the first of december but its been so busy and crazy around here that we havent gotten it yet! We always get real trees♥! They smell sooo goood! Also, our house is barely decorated! Right now i just feel like taking out all our decorations and putting them up! Maybe I should get off the computer and go do that! Mountain view is amazing. seriously. I've been so incredibly busy that i havent had time to post! my life is a pattern. wake up at 445, run, school, dinner, homework, bed. Other stuff is squeezed in there, but thats basically the jist of it! At school ive met so many cool and awesome people! I still see my old friends at lunch and stuff so it isnt as bad as i was afraid it was going to be! Ive had 3 cross country meets so far... the first one i got 28th place out of 200 somethin girls! haha the second meet i got 2nd out of probably 100(?) girls. and the meet last saturday i got 19th out of 300 plus girls! these are all jv races! i love the meets! they are so fun! and i love my team! theres about 100 people on it but its still a huge family! Oh ya i totally forgot to mention that im 15 now!!! my birthday was super good! i didnt have a party this year but thats okay. i just spent it with my family and got a ton of birthday wishes at school! it was a great day! :) anyways...thats about it! GO TOROS!!

SCHOOL STARTS IN 3 DAYS!!!!! and not just any school....HIGHSCHOOL!!!! so this week i went to orientation at my new school MOUNTAIN VIEW (GO TOROS!) and it was super fun! i got to see everyone from stapley and see the new people im gonna be with for the next 3 years! the school is huge so im most likely going to get lost on the first day! im excited/scared for highschool! i know its going to be fun like everyone says, but i still dont know what to expect! and im scared of losing my friends from stapley in this big school! everyone reassures me that in highschool you keep your old friends and make new ones, but i have like no classes with my friends, how am supposed to stay friends with them? oh well, if they really are my friend we will stay friends! so ya thats my main worry. other than that, im fine!! its a big change in my life that ive been needing and i cant wait to get started! well maybe i can cuz im gonna miss summer so much!! this was the best summer of my life! well wish me luck in highschool!! :)

okay so i havent posted in like forever!! so, im just going to say everything thats happened since my last post in bullet form!

my 4X800 team won city! :) i was the anchor! :) i got 2nd place in city in the 800 and 7th in the 2 mile! girls got 2nd in city and boys won!!
my chorus went to a festival where we earned a superior rating! :) that was a fun day!
9th grade ENDED!! good bye stapley, hello mountain view! :)
SUMMER!!!!!!!!!
i went to my cabin with my cousins!
stake trek- awesome awesome awesome!!! i loved it!! i had the best family and parents! i gained a better testimony and had a swell time walking 19 miles!
california with my friend savanna!! we stayed in an awesome resort! it was sweet! one day, we went to DISNEYLAND!! :) which is one of my favorite places on earth! i loved it! we also went shopping and to coronado!
and just two days ago i got back from a 9 day trip to kansas!! it was so fun! i love my family! my sister is the best!! and my nephews and niece are the greatest! i seriously had the best time! i saw toy story 3 there and we went to an amusement park called worlds of fun! and let me tell you, it was worlds of fun! there were amazing roller coasters! it was so fun! haha except at the end i went on this huge roller coaster and i got so sick! it was horrible! but it was worth it! :) i hung out with my nephew and his friends a couple times and they are hilarious! anyways, that was such a great trip!
when im actually at home, i go to cross country for mountain view! i get up at 5 and run at 530! i run like 5.5 miles everyday! its so tiring buts its so worth it!
this weekend im going to girls camp! :)
and then the week after that EFY!! im so excited!!!
later in july i have cross country camp! it will be fun!

okay thats it! as you can see, this summer is insane!!!! im seriously so busy!! right now i gotta go get ready to see eclipse! hopefully it wont be too intense for me! haha k see ya!

it really has been so long since ive been on here! ive been so busy! spring break was amazing!!! tracie and her family came and we had a blast! quad riding, playing video games, pigging out, watching movies, and cracking ourselves up! haha i love my family! they are the funnest and funniest people ive ever been with!

track has been awesome!! i love it so much! im in it with all my friends and its so fun! ive really been pushing myself to do the best i can and ive had some good results! im on the 4X800 relay team! i have the fastest 800 time on my team! i have no idea how i do it! i just run! i also run the regular 800. i got 1st place in 2 meets for that race...and i run the 2 mile! i hate that one! i got 4th place just on thursday! we had 2nd most important meet of the season...poston vs. stapley! our boys won!! girls lost...79-52. we knew we were going to lose! poston girls are the best in the city! but we're 2nd best at least! a week from today is the CITY MEET!!! im so nervous!!!!!! im the anchor in the 4X800 relay and im also doing the 2 mile and 800! its going to be crazyyy! im so nervous!

last weekend, my mom was in kansas so i had a sleepover! :) me, hannah adams, and sage!! i love these girls! ive known them for basically as long as i can remember! they are hilarious and we are so crazy together! that pic is of me and sage at the orange patch! the 3 of us woke up and decided to ride to the orange patch. it was the last day it was open so it was perfect! we got some orange juice, candy, ice cream, and jerky! it was great! so yea my life has been pretty dang awesome! this has been the happiest ive ever been! :) i have amazing friends and i love them all!! there is only like a month left of school! its weird! im going to be a sophmore!! well, see ya later!

Basketball is over.... sad!! :(

that team was like my family and now it feels like we're separated!

It's okay though cuz now i have...TRACK!!!! I'm so excited! It is so fun!!! its like all my cross country team plus people from basketball plus basically everyone else! it is awesome! we had our first meet on thursday. we dominated 111-16. ya i know we're good! just kidding, we kind of had a huge advantage seeing as their team only had 6 girls on it. but still, we are awesome!

School has been fun. just the same ol homework every night. 3rd quarter is ending in 2 weeks! its crazy! then it will be spring break which im SOOOO excited for it cuz my sister and her family are coming down again! im gonna party all spring break with my nephews and neices! and hopefully i'll have a cousins party! so yeah pretty much my life is "good, really good" (nacho libre quote) well, i'd better go! peace out!!

HAPPY 2010!!!!

I havent posted in forever cuz my life has been crazy and fast! its weird, it seems like Christmas was 2 weeks ago but it was like a month ago. that went by like a blink of an eye! hey that rhymed! anyways so for christmas i got a camera a basketball, and some clothes.

its pretty awesome! ive been taking pictures with it and using it a lot.

As far as basketball goes...lets just say we havent been doing as well as we should. we've lost our last six games!!! its pretty sad. we only have four games left and hopefully we'll win at least ONE of them!

im so excited! its officially Christmas time! this time of year makes me so happy! now an update of whats been going on with me. so after cross country ended, i tried out for basketball. i made the team!!!! its been super fun and im definitely improving. Thanksgiving was on thursday. my family came over and ate food. we've been out of school for a couple days...i dont know how im gonna get used to being in school again. we were only out for 5 days but it feels like longer than that! i want to add pictures but i really dont have any cuz my camera is broken. so yea thats whats been happening with me!

time has been going crazy fast!! its already 2nd quarter! where did it all go? cross country is over!!! im happy yet sad. it was super fun, challenging and i got to be with my friends! i did pretty good during this season. The best place i ever got in a race was 8th place. we had our city meet last friday i got 21st (my lucky/fav #)!! there was like 150-200 girls racing against me, so i thought that was pretty good. of course it all wasnt fun and games. on our last meet before city, my friend heidi accidentally tripped me and i scraped my knee pretty bad. blood was gushing everywhere and i jammed my toe. it hurt. if i would have seen myself trip it would have been the funniest thing ever!

so yea its been pretty exciting. but now it is over.... sad day!! now i get to try out of basketball!!!!

um yea. i am lovin 9th grade!! so a lot has happened! first of all, school!!! it is awesome! seminary rocks! its like church everyday but way funner! also, i joined the cross country team. it has been pretty challenging yet pretty fun! we had our first meet on wednesday. i did better than i expected i would do. i got 26th out of 70 something people! it was cool! im also on the yearbook committee! me and my two friends are in charge of taking pictures for spirit days! its gonna be great!

and last but not least my birthday!!!!!!!!!!!!! i turned 14!!! i had a rockin party and got a NEW CELL PHONE. it was great!! so yea ive had some good times this last month! im excited for whats ahead!

I haven't posted in awhile now. I'm really bored right now so I decided to I would post right now. I recently got back from girls camp!! it was a fun and spiritual experience! i brought my camera to take some pics but i didnt take any until the last night there. summer activites of me

SO. i've been dreading to post cuz its gonna be a long post. so last time i said i finished musical theater. the next week i started basketball. it was pretty fun and ended to quickly. that friday, june 19th, we left for kansas.

In Kansas, we had a blast! we swam one day, went to kansas city the next, and another day we went boating on the private lake my sister tracie lives on! we went tubing and knee boarding. i accidentally broke their knee board. whoops.... it was awesome! in between all that we went to baseball/softball games for my nephews and neice. it was so hot and humid out there! we also saw the movie up. it was so funny! all in all, it was an unforgetable time!

when we got back from kansas i was pretty bored. it was the first time that i actually didnt have anything to do that week . for 4th of july we went to my cabin. i brought my friend celeste with me. we went to the parade and rodeo in eager/sprierville, az. it was pretty cool.

now im back to doing nothing. i'll post pics from my kansas trip later! happy summer!!!

musical theater fun!!!!!!

so like i said ive been in musical theater for the past 2 weeks! it has been a blast. but the sad part is that when everyone is friends and having a good time....it ends! im gonna miss everyone that i met! im gonna miss waking up at 6:30am every morning for it. actually i wont miss that but still.

we had our performance saturday night at mesquite jr high! there was a nice turn out and it ended out well. we presented flowers to our teachers, one of them is my aunt and the other is her daughter. the teachers were awesome and they deserved the flowers they got. the sad thing is that this performance might have been the very last one. my aunt Linda is going on a mission to gauna, africa and 2 of the other teachers are retiring. that leaves my cousin angela to teach it by herself next summer. hopefully she will find some more teachers!

anyways...back to the performance, we rocked it!! i wish i would have had someone take a video... i barely managed to take a few pictures....

Rylee Rae Nichols was born on May 30, 2009 to Justin and Kayli Nichols. She was 6 pounds and 20 inches long. We went and saw them in the hospital today. Then we went home and got a rocking chair to take to their house. It looked nice! I'm so excited for them and Rylee!

Nothing has really been going on lately. i had an ortho appointment today. my orthodonist (my cousin) told me that i will be getting my braces off soon. like in november! im so happy about that! also SCHOOL IS ALMOST OUT! it seriously is going to end soon, and i am soo happy. i just need a break! we might go to kansas this summer. that would be cool!

spring break overview

What a week!! it was so fun! tracie and her family (tracie, darren, porter, mason, lindsay, spencer, tanner) came late last friday night. we had such great times! on monday we went to this train park in scottsdale and rode the little train there. on st. patricks day i spent most of the day riding quads and later we went to fountain hills to see the green fountain. on wednesday, we went to a resort in scottsdale and went swimming. then, that night, porter and I went to my cousins, tyler and kaylee's, house. we played 007 and ate pizza and just talked. it was so fun!! on thursday, our whole family went to mesquite wash to ride quads. i got soo sun burnt! i have a huge farmers tan on my arms! yesterday, me, porter, cameron, lindsay, and spencer made a video. it was a talk show that porter and i were the hosts. we had interviews and commercials. it turned out really funny! last night me, natalie, and porter stayed up until 3am to make the most of the time left to be with them. they left at around 10:30 this morning. this house is so empty and sad. i miss them already. today i went shopping and got a new church outfit. well i better go! im so not excited for school!

it has officially hit me. the second semester is here. yea i know, its been here for 3 weeks but i haven't been paying attention. i have been really lazy and tired all the time. normally when i have homework i will work on it and not go to bed until i'm done, but for these last few weeks i've been like half way through my math homework and i'll just be like "oh i'll do it when i wake up." YEA RIGHT. another thing is that its getting harder. thats half the reason why im not doing it. i get it, but since its getting harder it requires more work, which i dont feel like doing. so tomorrow is monday i am making it my goal that i will get all my homework done this week and hopefully for the rest of the year! wish me luck!!!!

the title pretty much explains my trip. yes it definatly was. try 17 people living in one house? actually that doesnt sound that bad....anyways lets start with the drive.

24 hours

thats all im going to say about that........

ok before i start this week full of activities im going to say all the people living in the house while we were there. tracie, my oldest sister, her husband darren, porter (13), mason (10), lindsay (8), spencer (5), tanner (11 mos.), darrens dad dave, his mom ellen, his brother larry,his sister cassie, my mom, my dad, me, dallin, justin, and kayli. count em!

we arrived at the house at approx. 7:00 am. hugs all around! that day was basically the day where we settled down and relaxed. i stayed up pretty late with porter. he didnt inform me that church was at 9:00 the next morning.

sunday- i slept in until 8:20. so i had about 20 minutes to take a shower, get ready, and eat. i did all that except for the eating part. so i get to church and i realized that my shirt was on backwards!! it wasnt that bad though because it was just a plain black long sleeved shirt. i changed it back after sacrament meeting.

7 hours later is lindsays baptism. i had to do a musical number with kayli, cassie, and allison (another of darrens sisters). the baptism was nice and had yummy treats afterwards. we also took a huge family pic.

monday- we played around all day until 2:00 when cassie finally got everyone to get going. we decided to go to kansas' state capital. it is a very big building. it is the 3rd biggest state capital in the united states i think. the crew that were able to, decided to climb to the top of the capital. in case you didnt know, this building is very tall, i dont know exactly how tall but it is tall. you climb up these stairs to the top and they are soo scary! they are suspended and you are high up looking down on this dome made of glass. you get to the top and you go through this hatch and you are at the top. you can see the whole city of topeka. it was very neat and scary! that night we went to cici's pizza and we also bought a nintendo 64. (you will see the importance of this later)

tuesday- this day contained a lot of playing super smash bros on nintendo 64. when we were finally done, we drove an hour to kansas city to do go karts. it was really fun. i kept on running into my mom. after that we went to a barbeque place that was really yummy. then we went home and the gamers (me porter and justin) played some more super smash brothers until 3 am. (see what i mean, we were obsessed. people were getting tired of that game)

wed- new years eve was a day that was planned for playing games and eating which is basically what we did. of course we played super smash bros, but we also played other games. that night i went with porter and his friends to a hockey game. it was kinda weird cuz i was the only girl, and the other girls that were there didnt even pay attention to me. so i was stuck with the boys. when we got home we played trivial pursuit (love that game!). we just stayed up till 12 said happy 2009 and thats about it, not that special.

thursday- sleep in day of america as i say. darrens family had left early that moring so since we all were sleeping no one really told them good bye. later, me, tracie, mom, justin, and kayli went to payless to get some shoes. i couldnt find any i liked though. later, we drove to kansas city again. we went to this place called crown center. it is a big mall that has a nice hotel hooked onto hit. yea i said it a mall and nice hotel. i was in heaven! i want to stay there sooo bad! so when we got back to the car and started driving to a restaurant i felt sick. like stomach sick. i was dying, well not really but still. we got to the burger place and i laid down. i felt horrible. then i ran to the bathroom and threw up. i felt a little better after that. after everyone ate, we went to liberty jail. i stayed in the car and laid down cuz i wasnt feeling good. i was getting cold though so i went inside. it was a cool place and you could see where joseph smith actually was. after that we had to drop kayli off at the airport. i threw up again in a cup. sorry this is probly grossing you out. when we got home i threw up again, twice. we watched a movie then i was in bed.

friday- i woke up feeling better but my body was sore for some reason. we packed up our things, said bye to everyone, and left. this day was spent driving the whole time.

we arrived home at 3:30 in the morning. this time it took us 19 hours. 5 hours less than last time, not so bad.

well thats about it, it was a very fun trip! no snow though, i was hoping for that. anyways, i hope i didnt bore you all to death with this ultra long post. i'll post pics later.

do any of you recognize this person? well you should if you are a big american idol fan (like me!) if you dont know who this is it's brooke white! i met her this past saturday at milanos music store! she is so pretty and nice! there was a long line to see her but we waited! i snapped this pics while waiting in line. its a good thing cuz by the time we were almost up to her an announcer said that she didnt have enough time to take pictures with people so all we could do was get her autograph. we walked up to her, said hey, she autographed the paper, and then it was over. i wish i could have talked to her and asked a question. oh well at least i met her! then that night she had a free concert and i went. she was really good! well thats all for now! i will try to put more pics on here so that it wont be so boring!

well schools officialy back in session! i was very excited to get back to stapley! but after my first day of 8th grade i wasnt as excited anymore. just all the work that i will be doing got me tired just thinking about it! besides that, im still glad to be back and see everyone. about the colorado trip... im not gonna write anymore cuz it took too long last time but if you reallly want me to i guess i will. anyways i'll keep ya posted of any other news! 2 weeks until my 13th birthday!!!!!

colorado trip!! part 1

hey everyone! well the good news is i got my camera back!! the bad news is i lost the cord to plug it in the camera!! so this amazing tale will not have any visualizations for it!

anyways... so my family and my sister tracies family go on vacations together every summer. this year we decided to go to colorado (again!). we booked the resort that we stayed in the previous time we were there. on saturday july 19th we packed our bags, loaded the car, and left heading north to colorado at 5:30 am. if you know my mom, you know she's not very good with directions. so she left the responsibily of navigating to natalie and me. we had mapquest to help us so it wasnt so bad. i went in the back of the car and took a nice 3 hour nap and when i woke up we were in flagstaff.

then we reached a small town called kayenta. we stopped for lunch. it was only 10:30 but we were hungry. mom bought a burrito for terra and told me to give it to her. how am i supposed to do that?!? for those of you who dont know terra she as cerebral pulsy... i wont explain the whole thing but the bottom line is she needs help getting fed cuz she cant feed her self. so we're in the car and she wants me to break up a burrito and give it to terra! and wipe her mouth which has drool coming out of it! after that i was done so i put on a movie (star wars episode 2) and relaxed. natalie wanted a nap in the back so i was given the job of finding the turnoff for another highway. i read the sign and it said not for another 30 miles. so i just watched the movie. 45 miles later i notice signs for the town page. we were supposed to turn a long time ago! we turned around, found the turnoff, and started heading the right direction. i felt bad cuz i had led us in the wrong direction.

an hour later we were in utah! almost halfway done with the journey! we turned left heading east like mapquest said. we saw a sign that said welcome to colorado. we werent supposed to be in colorado yet!! map quest was wrong! so yet again we turned around and went back the right way. that time wasnt my fault at least! we stopped for dinner (nasty mcdonalds!) at 4:00 in the town of montecello and then continued our journey. we saw our exit finally and went on the I 70 east. we crossed into colorado at the right time! natalie had to go to the bathroom and we couldnt find a gas station so we stopped at a kohls! haha we looked crappy but hey its not like we'll ever see those people again! now that we were in colorado we just had to stay on this highway for a couple hours until we exit on exit 205.

at about 9:30 we saw our exit and got off. about 30 miles in i saw a sign for a town called kremling and i had no idea where that was. i looked on the map and it was not on the highway we were supposed to be on. we were gonna turn around but we just decided to get to the town to see if we could get directions. when we pull into the gas station we saw a sign that said granby 27 miles. granby! thats the town where our resort was! how in the world that happened i have no idea but we were saved. by this time it was almost 11 and we were really tired.

we got to our resort when we realized that we had no food for the next day (sunday) so we had to get groceries. of course none of the stores were open at that time so we had to go to 7 11 gas station where we got enough food for sunday and monday morning so that we could go shopping again on monday. anyways we got the groceries and then went to our resort. the resort was huge! there was like 5 small resorts in it that made it so big! we couldnt find which one was ours. we finally found it. its 12:30 am, we were beat! as soon as we got in there. we all sunk to our beds! man what a day!

we woke up the next day feeling way tired. we found a church in the little book and we went. we had no idea where it was but we knew what street it was on so that helped a little. amazingly, we found it! we only went to the first hour of church. then we went back to the resort for some sleep! well this was part 1 of our amazing trip... i hope i didnt bore you with this long story! stay tuned for part 2!!

I have been pretty busy..kinda. i FINALLY got my cast off on june 10th. so i have been swimming n such. i also have been going to summer school for writing. i go from 8:30am to 10am. but now its over! 4th of july is coming up and our family is going to our still not finished cabin. we are leaving tommorow at 4 in the morning! im not pysched for that....we are gonna be their for a week. well i better go start packing. thats it for now!!

I just got my braces on yesterday! They hurt like crap! They are purple just like my cast. When they were putting them on they had this cheek pincher thingy and it was pulling my lips and cheeks out of the way. It was on for like 20mins when it was really supposed to be on for like 10 mins. UGH. my mom took a pic of me on her disposable camera. cant wait to see what that looks like!

the tale of the broken radius

So Cassie put a link to this so maybe half of her friends will look at this. So I thought I might please you all with the tale of my arm.

So there I was. Sittin' in the house on the computer. Lindsay came and said, "Hannah, come jump on the tramp! Shawn and Cameron are out there!" So what the heck? I'll go. I go out there. We jump for a little bit. Then they're like, "Who wants to get popped?" Normally, I am terrified to even be on a trampoline with Shawn. He is 34 and he's merciless. Well, I don't know what got into my head but somehow I thought I wouldn't get hurt. So, I do it. Nothing happens.

Then Porter went. Then they're like, "All right. Hannah, do it again."

Big mistake.

I sit down with my arms down, bracing myself. My feet were turned to one side and I was leaning on my left arm. Shawn and Cameron warned me. They said, "Hannah, sit indian style!" A thought came into my head of me flying 20 feet into the air. I said, "No way."

"One . . .two . . . What . . .was that???

"Oooooooooow!" I screamed. I looked down. And my arm looked like Harry Potter's in The Chamber of Secrets when he has no bones. Except I had a bone . . . and it was sticking up under my skin. After that I started screaming. "Cameron! Go get Dad . . . I think she broke her arm."

My dad comes out, "Yep. It's broken," he said very matter-of-factly, no fear in his voice. He carried me in the house as I was moaning and groaning. He laid me on the counter. And then I was convulsing and my head wouldn't stop going side to side. Cameron later described me as sleepy delirious. I really was tired. I just wanted to go to sleep. I was probably in shock.

My dad and brother made me a splint out of a spatula and a cut out piece of cardboard. Don't forget the bandana sling.

Mom, Cassie, Tracie, and Nat were gone shopping and picking up a boutineire for prom. They came home and there I was on the counter. I don't know why, but when my mom walked in I just wanted to cry. So I did. Darren carried me out to the car as I cried. "Hannah, it's going to be ok," he reassured me.

They took me to one Urgent Care but it was closed. So we had to go to another one. In the waiting room, my arm was throbbing. I ended up with a sling, an ace bandage, and some Ibuprofen. I STILL got in my bridesmaid outfit and made it to the reception fashionably late. By the time I got there, the whole reception knew. I had TONS of people coming up to me and asking about it.

Two days later I got my arm set. It hurt like heck. Two large men grabbed my bare arm with both of their hands and squeezed as hard as they could. I felt my bone move back. They didn't even give me a painkiller!!! I wanted to cry, but I gritted my teeth and held it in.

So that's the story. Now I have a purple cast pictured above.

hey everyone! i havent really gotten on this thing that much... and cassie's probly the only person who checks mine but anyways heres my current state....

1. i broke my arm on justins wedding...typical.
2. im getting braces
3. my dance recital is during girls camp so im conflicted on either doing the recital for 1 hour or spending 4 days in camp lomia. i realllly want to go girls camp, but ive been working hard on my dance. i dont know what to do!!!!
4. SCHOOLS ALMOST OUT!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

This week is spring break and I have nothing! Most my friends are in various places in the Northern Hemisphere and I'm stuck in lil ol Arizona.
